What happens to Security & Resolutions (S&R) section?

You can now file a complaint through the ‘Contact Us’ section from Souq.com homepage.

Simply fill in your details and our Customer Support representatives will be in touch with you within 24 to 48 hours.

 

When will my money be released?

Your money will be released ones the delivery is made to the buyer and 3 days have passed without receiving any complain from the customer

 

Why have the Q&A section disappeared?

We want you to focus on growing your business on site and leave the customer queries to us! Our Customer Support team is well-trained and dedicated to help all customers with their requirements and is more than happy to take that burden off your shoulders!

 

 When will my items appear when I list a new offer?

If your items have been filled properly under the right categories with detailed description and attributes, then they will appear on site 24 to 48 hours after posting them.

We had cases before where sellers received many questions from buyers and they never attended to them.     Hi, i would like to ask if sellers could be from any other country Egypt as an example to sell there products in the UAE.
    Then the second question will be could i ship my sold product from any ware from the world or only from and within the USE.

    the beauty of souq is that you can haggle with the sellers. now witht the new website i dont think it’s no longer possible and that defeats the purpose of having a souq.

    how will I be sure that items sold here are genuine? like im looking for a rayban sunglass and some are offreing below 200 aed, I think this is too good to be true, how can souq.com assure buyers thats the real thing..

    How do I communicate with sellers??? If I want a specific item out of many…how do I do that??? I hate this new Souq!!!

    The new souq is awful! we can not ask questions about the items we want to buy and we can not negotiate. I am thinking of boycotting the website because it is so useless since it changed..

      i bought an iphone case for 14 dhs and when i got the item i found that the seller send 2 charging docks

      when i contact the seller the number was wrong

    How am I supposed to know details of an item such as warranty, if I can not ask the seller any questions.

    Do you really expect your users to buy items without knowing basic information or should we buy and return items if they don’t meet our requirements?

    I have been a member of souq since 2006. I dont like the new souq anymore. I prefer the question and answer between the seller and the buyer. I am not doing anymore transactions.

    It is the first time i am dealing with souq and it will be the last time, i ordered 2 items which should be delivered a week ago, no sufficient updates on the website explains the delay or even receiving a call. Tried calling customer service but no answer.

    What kind of business management is that?! If you don’t respect time set on YOUR site, you don’t respect the customer himself. if you guys have a little dignity you close that site… FOR GOOD.

    I have bought online samsung s3 five months ago since yesterday after battery drain fully it was off i have kept cherging when its full cherged i made on but its gone in after farmet mode most of applications not working sms icon not opening samsung apps. store icon stucked.
    Kindly help me out where shell i take this mobile their is no warranty card in the box.

    I have questions about the condition of the item I want to buy due to its age. How do communicate with the seller?

    Your souq staff is unable to answer these questions. And I dont want order the item, then wait till its delievered. Then check its condition & return it if its not what I expected.

    Removing the Q&A section is making things very difficult for buyers.

    just to share with you… souq.com is breaking its own rules.. it says
    How do I get paid on Souq.com?When your item sells, Items prices will be released to you based on one of the following conditions

    - The item got delivered to the buyer, and the buyer left a positive feedback on the item.

    – After 4 days from the item delivery date, while no feedback left from the buyer on the item.

    Here are the souq tricks:
    Im a seller: My items was sold and delivered to buyer, now its been 8days already, yet souq.com didnt release my money!
    I contacted Souq, and one of the Souq Agent said that “Aramex is yet to deposit the cash. Once Aramex deposited the cash, your money will be released to you in 24hours”.

    Seller should not care about your transaction with Aramex! If they delay to deposit.. souq should release the money to seller as per above terms set by Souq. Obviously, souq is playing games! Breaking its rules!

    Come on guys! please stand with your commitment with your souq users! soon this will be trap to your business!
