  • Frustrated Souq Seller

    The New look souq is without the option to ask questions to the seller…
    As a seller – the response from the customer care / help desk is too bad after the souq has changed to new souq… earlier the team used to be so swift in responding whereas now – more than 2 days & 4 complaints but not a single reply… thats really frustrating.

    Souq should have called these meetings BEFORE implementing such a drastic change in the layout – that’s the least consideration and respect Souq should have given the sellers. I do realise that commercial benefits come first to Souq but calling meetings AFTER the changes have been made is kind of pointless?! It is just a nice way of saying “We have done out bit, now you learn to accept it, like it or not” ?!
    Your customer service support is worse than ever, emails, calls are going unanswered- ?!

        Hi Nada i’m already 10 days begging your support to help me with the issues i’m facing but still no changes most of  my items in incomplete sections and other are pending since 10 days i can not sell and my business stoped coz of ur new innovations it s so bad feeling and mood along all this unhelped days and i have hundred of issues and no one helps NOONE….just promisses to wait and understand soooo how long ????very bad souq team this time you r very bad in responding and help

           I agree with you, Binfares47. The new souq.com platform has COMPLETELY stopped my business too. The description has all messed up after they irrationally deciding to disallow HTML….

          Many of my items have just disappeared.

          I’ve sent many requests but received unsatisfactory replies.

          Souq.com needs to learn from ebay.com.

          I am totally disappointed.

          Is there any other website like ebay.com operating in UAE?

My main problem is Shipping Label does not print buyer’s address, only buyer’s name and city is mentioned. why is that. also i can’t see buyer’s mobile number. why is that. i have already 2 orders to deliver and iam not sure what to do. my user id is amila36

    I’ve been trying to send email to souq for the past 5 days and no answer to my email. Trying to call customer service but nobody answers the phone! Such a piece of crap! Nobody’s helping the sellers…now buyers can easily buy the items and if they don’t like it they can ask for refund and don’t return the items to the sellers? What im asking here is souq should contact the buyer since sellers cannot see their contact numbers or vice versa.

    I need help with a unit that was purchased on souq.com and sold to me by one of your customers. Its an Xtouch x906 unit sold under shipment number 1505400, item no 4501818. The unit worked for a week and then suddenly stopped responding completely. I need to know from the seller whether there is warranty coverage on this i could benefit from. It is barely over a month old. Please help.

    I have made a bad decision to buy the xtouch tablet from souq.com
    on 04th July 2012. They are not delivered my order for more than Three week and
    no proper response from souq. So I am fed up about Souq order so I have request
    to cancel and refund my credit and I have got my money back after one month.
    But now they have charged me again with my credit card details saved in there
    system. Please don’t buy anything from souq using your credit card because they
    are store this details in there system and they are using it whenever they want.

    Hi,
    I’d like to know how a seller on Souk.com can receive ‘cash’ for a sold item that has already been delivered to the buyer.
    Does it get transferred to a bank account.
    In my case, I have not set a bank account on my souk.com profile.
    Will I need to collect it from an office?

    Please help!

    Hello, I am very much interested in Souq articles. I discovered the website in the net while making researches on how to pruchase online articles. But i a have a problem. I live in Germany and can’t subscribe in your website because Germany isn’t among the stated countries to be chosen. More over i don’t know the procedure to purchase that is giving money to the seller while in Germany and don’t know equally how after purchase the articles will reach to me. Please can someone help me out.

    pls inlcude a review column in each and every product so that people will come to know of whether the product is correct as it is mentioned in the website. for example, if i am buying a phone with 32 gb and i am getting a 16 gb model. it will be a total waste of money as well as time. so include review box so that people will understand better about the product.
