    I really don’t like the new site. I can’t figure out how to change prices on my items? It won’t let me save – I don’t know when a payment has gone from pending to received…. Old site was so much better.

      Hello Zilahd. After logging in, simply go to ‘My Account’ section, on the bottom left of the page you will see ‘Live Items’ under the ‘Selling’ section.

      As for the payment, you need to go to ‘Account Summary’ , you will then see the ‘Available’ and ‘Pending’ funds tabs.

     Since the new souq page most of my feedback history is gone. Only few feedback comments are visible and not all.

    There is
    no option of favorite sellers so I lost my list of favorite sellers.

    I
    have converted all my items according to new souq listing criteria
    before the date mentioned but all my items for sale are not showing and hence some of my listings gone.

    Whats going
    on? Please help. What about my previous Selling and buying history?

    it is very difficult to search for my requirements unlike before it is very easy if you think this is very good to you maybe because of its looks then the administrator is wrong, It is better  before that the new one a its a headache for me now to find my usually followed items.

    souq.com has been very hard to operate.. some of the downside is like you can’t post questions to seller, leaving feedback, filtering items…

      Hello Ahoon. The charges are actually still the same with all payment options. The handling time is being decided by the Seller here and not by Souq.com. This is a new feature that we added, as this will help Sellers have enough time to source their items. Have a nice day!

    Hello Matalha.  We have removed the Q&A option as with growth of sales on Souq.com – 1000s of questions were not being attended to or answered and sellers were getting 1000s of emails daily, which is hard to keep up with. U will notice that item attributes are enriched for buyers’ convenience, and hence this eliminates the need of questions & answers.

      Well we need to ask certain questions to the sellers.. We are paying money to buy stuff..its not free that we take anything without even asking some basic questions.. And I dont think its ‘enriched’ for buyers convenience..its purely the sellers benefit..
      and also this feature will surely result in many returns and cancellations..

         Good morning Challay. Providing the complete information about any item will definitely allow buyers to know everything they need about their purchase. Moreover, the best price by the top sellers will be showing on top. We’ve done this great change for buyers’ safety and convenience. We had a lot of cases where buyers asked questions and Sellers never attended to them, so we want to take that responsibility of protecting you. There is still an option where you can leave feedback, and the Seller can communicate through us. Hope this answers your question. Have a nice day.

      actually u just made difficult for the seller to sell their items.it’s important for the buyer to inquire about the things their going to buy and who are u kidding that without the Q&A is better for the the buyers convenience; that is the total opposite!

        Hello Royal. It might be hard now for Sellers as its still the beginning, and we totally understand that change can be difficult – but rest assure this is also for Sellers’ benefits in the future! When Sellers provide their best deals with complete item attributions, proper titles, complete descriptions… etc then their offers will be more visible to buyers, and they can buy it instantly without any doubts and need for questions. For any matters they can always come back to our Customer Support. Hope this helps.

    The Q&A section is gone as with the new site we have added enriched item attributes and this eliminates the need of Q&A by buyers.

     I felt that the old one was far better than this. I dont get search results like before. i searched for a 67mm filter nikon, now no results, earlier i got several. try to retain the old one and add features that you want instead of revising everything.

    Really this is not user friendly at all…leaving souq coz so much of time is wasted on searching an item and no matter what u search u r stuck on page one…the old souq.com was far better…this one is absolutely horrible….

    Souq better rollback to previous site,It was simple,fast, much much better.
    Looks like the new site was designed by a person who what’s to show off his creativity in Flash,Graphics but this kills the usability of the website which is used on daily basis.
    Regarding the Q&A souq is saying people are not getting time to answer questions,that’s why they removed it (Big mistake).

    This is not an issue,you can make Q&A optional while listing.
    Q&A creates trust between seller and buyer,it’s a must.

    I am saying this not as a typical user, I’m a Software Engineer.

    i dont like the new souq at all!!!! it’s not user friendly,confusing and they remove the most important option which is the messaging between the seller and the buyer.they even remove the feedback  of the buyer and they retain only the feedbacks of the seller.i really hate the new souq format sooooooooooo much!!! why do they have to change souq that i like and change it to this horrible new souq format.stupid big misake from the management and i think souq will lose many users because of that stupid mistake. i will just use Dubizzle again,new souq sucks bigtime!!!

    will u pls put back the NEWLY LISTED OPTION so that were not going to browse the same items over and over again,and also the Q&A option between the seller and the buyer.I just noticed that since u change the format sellers are not posting new items anymore and i think buyers stopped buying also and i think the only thing working for souq right now is the DAILY DEALS other than that everything just became stagnant,that will have a bad effect on ur website.If u will not do something about this ASAP u will lose ur long time as well as new users who supported u from the inception of this site and i think u have to listen to the complained or attend to the needs of the users because u owe it to them on why u (SOUQ) are successful right now.

Feedbacks options is bad, Favourite Seller option has been removed, You cant ask questions to Sellers? I mean this is rediculuos.

    if souq will not do something or listen to the complain of their users i just hope and wish that there will be another website that will surface that will offer same format more user friendly same as the old souq format and if that happens i am very sure that SOUQ will die instantly same what happened to FRIENDSTER when FACBOOK came out; that will be the fate of SOUQ.COM if they will not listen to the complain of their user.

    I have purchased a lot from souq….. but now…. :( i dont know which idiot told them (souq.com) to make 
    New Souq.com …??? This is ridiculous… Juts daily deals and nothing else…. all sellers are gone and i believe buyers too…..

    I believe there will be only one reason to remove Q/A between seller and buyers.. that many buyers were buying directly from seller and Souq.com was not earning from that….. :(

    iam a regular buyer from souq but i stop buying anything since they  change it ….old one was much better at least bring back the Q&A option between the seller and the buyer.
    no way i buy  some thing blindy  without getting  back to the seller  or ask him  or her any  question as  a customer  its  my  right  to ask before  i  buy  some thing so please  for god sake bring back  the Q&A option other  ways  iam, really  off  from souq.com  new  website so sucks  old one much much easier and faster

      It’s just easier for them to not have Q&A so that the seller is not bound to give you a receipt for warranty, confirm the quality of goods or do his job properly!

    Dear Nada, I follow this trailing conversation for a while,especially i follow all of your replies to the queries ( most from buyers )
    I am very disappointed because item description are often ( not always but often ) not enough to permit to understand properly the item itself and this thanks to the fact that souq remove the Q&A section, will bring buyers not to buy,
    Especially when we are talking about electronics, just for example, you can have two TV with the same model number but just the last code is different and the two tv are totally different. how buyer can clarify with the seller ? you suggested to use the feedback option , sorry but is totally crazy, feedback can give only once purchased!!!
    And which kind of feedback ? negative? No, not right at all! is like am selling an item just called “CAR” for a certain price without mention options and so on……please come on, I understand souq lost a lot of income because seller and Buyers agreed privately, Just reinforce the Check in the Q&A , thats all, otherwise, believe me , a lot of user will move to something else, especially buyers .
